La méditation transcendantale: une technique simple, naturelle et sans effort.

What is Transcendental Meditation (TM)?

The Transcendental Meditation (TM) is a simple, natural and effortless technique of deep relaxation. It is known worldwide for its effectiveness, ease of use, and its scientific validation. It is usually practiced twice daily, 20-minute sessions each, sitting comfortably with eyes closed.

Its benefits have been evaluated by hundreds of scientific studies published in scientific journals worldwide. "Transcendental meditation is one of the technical Studied That has-been the most, and the MOST rigorously, in randomized controlled trials."*

TM is a technique, which means that it is systematic and repeatable. If this technique is used properly, we obtain the benefits. It is also because of this systematic aspect that scientists worldwide have studied the benefits through numerous research.

This technique is called simple, natural and effortless:

  • Simple, because it uses the power of thought, and that alone is enough to power can be used.
  • Natural because it uses the natural tendency of the mind to go toward what attracts the most, pure consciousness, transcendence.
  • Effortless, because no effort is required to practice. There is no concentration or suggestion. Every effort occured during practice limits the depth of the experience of relaxation, and the experience of the source of thought, pure consciousness.

It is neither a religion nor a philosophy. It requires no change in lifestyle, other than to include practice in his daily schedule, at 20 minutes twice a day.

TM is taught by certified teachers of Transcendental Meditation as a structured course in seven steps.
